A four-panel black-and-white comic labeled “MadScott.”

Panel 1: A simple outdoor scene with a small tree on rolling hills. Text reads: “I remember drawing comics as a creative outlet.”

Panel 2: A glass sitting on a surface. Text at the top reads: “Recently I draw more as a form of social therapy.” A speech bubble from off-panel says, “Let me refill that cup.”

Panel 3: A bearded person looks forward with a neutral, slightly weary expression. Three boxed captions around them read: “WE’RE ALL HERE,” “SITTING IN THE STEW,” and “TOGETHER.”

Panel 4: A small figure walks away across a simple landscape. A thought bubble reads: “I’m ready to go back to those earlier days maybe for just a little while.”

The comic reflects on shifting from drawing for personal creativity to using it as a way to process shared social stress, with a nostalgic longing for simpler times.

Together

Let's just sit and refill each other up from the well of hope.

My Life rocks!

A few weeks back I had a break between audio books and I became a listener to The Clockwork Cabaret. It’s got just the right amount of humor and odd ball music to listen to while I drive into work. They had a contest where if you knew where something or other came from likely related to cartoons because that’s all I am likely to have remembered.. something about the Purple Pie Eater as I recall.. Well guess what. I won and you didn’t! clockwork package clockwork_telegram Thanks Clockwork Cabaret!
